Teriyaki Cauliflower

Teriyaki cauliflower is an easy and flavorful side dish that goes great with many main course meals. Only 6 ingredients are required and these crispy cauliflower bites are ready in less than one hour!

Ingredients

  • 1 medium/large cauliflower cut into florets
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt divided
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper divided
  • 1 ½ cups panko bread crumbs
  • ½ cup 4 ounces Teriyaki sauce
  • Optional garnish: sesame seeds sliced scallions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, add eggs, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
  • In a separate medium bowl, add panko and remaining ¼ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
  • Place a few cauliflower florets in the egg mixture then place in panko and cover completely.
  • Place each floret on the baking sheet. Repeat with remaining cauliflower. Bake for 30 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time. Remove from oven.
  • Place teriyaki sauce in a small bowl. Using a pastry brush, dip brush into teriyaki sauce and brush on each piece of cauliflower. Place back into oven for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
