Edible Brownie Batter

Edible brownie batter is a great snack when your sweet tooth strikes! It’s also vegan friendly and makes an outstanding fruit dip.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ can 7.5-8 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons cow’s milk or plant-based milk of choice
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a food processor, add rolled oats and salt and process into a flour. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Add beans to food processor and puree. Add oat flour and salt back to food processor. Add peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla, cocoa, and milk and process till smooth.
  • Transfer to a bowl and mix in chocolate chips.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes prior to serving.
