Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews soaked at least 4 hours or overnight
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder or cacao powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of cinnamon optional
  • Pinch of nutmeg optional

Instructions

  • Drain and rinse cashews.
  • Place cashew, water, sweetener of choice, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt, and spices (optional) in a high powered blender. Blend for 2 to 3 minutes, starting on low and increasing speed gradually, until mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Place cashew milk in a container and store in the refrigerator.
