Cherry Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled or plain instant oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2/3 cup cows milk or plant-based milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup frozen cherries
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon toasted chopped pecans or nuts of choice

Instructions

  • In a container or mason jar, add oats, chia, salt, milk, vanilla, and frozen cherries. Mix together well. Place in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight
  • When ready to eat, open mix well. Top with pecans.

Note: if cherries are large, can choose to thaw and chop prior to using or just cut them up in the oats before eating.
