Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon avocado or sunflower oil
  • 8 ounces shishito peppers
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  • In a cast iron skillet (or other heavy duty skillet), heat oil over medium-high until shimmering.
  • Add peppers and cook until they start to char, ~1-2 minutes. Then continue to cook but stir occasionally for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Transfer to platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
