Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, add butter and melt.
  • Add sugar and heavy cream and stir well with a spatula.
  • Bring to a boil, then boil for 4 minutes, scraping the sides occasionally.
  • Turn off heat and stir in salt and vanilla.
  • Transfer to a container and allow to cool.
