Baked Halloumi Fries

Baked Halloumi Fries are a great high-protein snack and super easy to make! You can also use your favorite seasonings for even more flavor!

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 ounces halloumi cheese sliced into sticks or “fries” shape
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Optional: dipping sauce – I like hot honey or marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix together onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper. Add the halloumi to the mixture and toss together.
  • Place halloumi on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle halloumi with oil.
  • Bake for 10 minutes then flip and bake another 10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Serve with dipping sauce.
