Yogurt Ranch
Yogurt ranch dressing is creamy, fresh, full of herbs, and made with Greek yogurt, giving it an extra punch of protein.

Is there really any better condiment other than ranch to add to wraps, salads, and veggie platters? I’ve mentioned before how I love making dressings from scratch because they are so simple, budget-friendly, and you can tweak the taste based on your personal preference.
You can also make dairy free ranch dressing, that has the same great flavor, but it’s perfect for those with sensitivities.
It’s an excellent dipping sauce for chicken wings, which you can make right in the air fryer without even having to thaw them out. Let’s not forget homemade pizza rolls either!
More Ways to Use Greek Yogurt:
Is Ranch Made With Greek Yogurt Healthier Than Store Bought?
This depends on several factors. Using Greek yogurt in homemade ranch dressing can offer benefits such as increased protein, fewer additives, and potentially lower sugar content compared to some store bought options.
However, it’s crucial to consider the specific ingredients and nutritional information of both versions. There are many brands making their way to the market that are using yogurt for the base which may have less fat than conventional brands.
Portion sizes also play a major factor when it comes to dips and condiments.
Ingredients Needed:
- nonfat plain Greek yogurt – other varieties that contain fat can be used, however, the dip may be a little thinner consistency.
- lemon juice and milk – adds tanginess like normal buttermilk would.
- Chives, parsley, and basil
- Salt, ground black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder
How to Make Yogurt Ranch
Combine all of the ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and stir well.

Tips for Making
- Fresh herbs will add more flavor faster. If you choose to use dried chives, basil, and parsley you should let the ranch chill in the fridge for a little bit so the flavors have time to marry.
- When using dried herbs you will use less than what you would with fresh.
- If you don’t have lemon juice and milk, use buttermilk instead.
- Greek yogurt is a great substitute in most recipes that call for sour cream. It has a very similar tanginess and just about the same consistency.
How to Store
Greek yogurt ranch should be refrigerated in an airtight container or mason jar for up to 5 days. This recipe makes 2 servings, so if you really love ranch, you will want to make a double batch!
