Cranberry Whipped Feta
Cranberry whipped feta dip is made with 6 simple ingredients, an easy appetizer, perfect for any holiday or occasion, and goes great on charcuterie boards.

In the past when I whipped cheese it was ricotta to make whipped ricotta crostini and honey whipped ricotta, but using feta is a game changer! It’s ultra creamy, not overly sweet, and can be served in so many different ways.
When it comes to serving an appetizer spread, I love including spicy olives (also great if you are making a charcuterie board), gluten free flatbread, and stuffed dates.
You can also use my homemade low carb chip recipe to go with feta dip to lighten the dish.
Ingredients Needed
- feta cheese
- yogurt – we used plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
- Garlic powder
- Olive oil
- Black pepper
- Dried cranberries – unsweetened
How to Make Cranberry Whipped Feta
Add the feta cheese, garlic powder, Greek yogurt, oil and pepper to a high speed blender or food processor.
Blend until the mixture is nice and creamy.
Transfer to a small bowl and fold in the dried cranberries.

How to Store

What to Serve With
Crackers or Crostini:
Serve cranberry whipped feta with a variety of crackers or crostini. The crispiness of the crackers or crostini provides a nice contrast to the creamy texture of the whipped feta.
Bread or Baguette Slices:
Toasted slices of baguette or other bread can make a great base for spreading the cranberry whipped feta and are easy to serve for a crowd.
Vegetable Sticks:
Include an assortment of veggies such as cucumbers, carrots, and celery. The fresh and crunchy vegetables complement the rich whipped feta well.
Pita Chips:
Pita chips, whether store-bought or homemade, are excellent and add a little more flavor than plain regular crackers.
Substitutions and Variations
Sweeter – if you would like to make the dip a little sweeter, drizzle some honey or maple syrup in with the other ingredients. Adjust based on your personal preferences.
Cranberry sauce – combine all of the ingredients in the food processor except for the sauce. Blend until creamy. Transfer to a bowl, then gently spread the cranberry sauce over top. You can use store-bought jellied cranberry or whole cranberry sauce.
Nuts – before serving top with chopped pecans, walnuts, or pistachios for a nice crunch.
Cream cheese – swap the feta for cream cheese to make a totally different version. For vegans, use my homemade vegan cream cheese recipe.
Spicy – add a dash or two of red pepper flakes.
Herby – sprinkle in some thyme or rosemary.
Citrus – a little orange zest goes a long way and pairs great with the tart cranberry flavor.
Figs – similar to using cranberry sauce, you can spread my espresso fig compote over top.
